I saw "Children Of Men," a dystopian, Sci-Fi film set in England, over the weekend and was completly blown away by it. "Children of Men" hits you from so many levels. It's an action film, a philosophical film, a spiritual journey.
It blasts you in all directions. The director, Alphonso Cuaron, whose film "Y Tu mama Tambien" was a an art house favorite, did a great job at capturing a world given over to terror, insanity and infertility.
Who is fighting who? Why? The youngest living person is 18 and has just died. No children are being born.
A world that could very easily pass for our future in twenty years, 2027, that is so messed up, it's scary where we could be heading.
The acting - Clive Owens, Julliana Moore, Michael Caine is real and teriffic.
